Chem-Dry of Liverpool has our very own custom-built rug cleaning facility. We’ll deal with most rugs, even delicate oriental rugs. Our professional cleaning team is just a phone call away – we’ll visit your home and take a look at your rugs and discuss your needs and requirements there and then. We’ll give you a written price for the work, and – in most cases  (although it depends on the size) – we’ll take them away to be cleaned straight away. All of our rugs are hand cleaned, which usually takes 10 to 14 days, and returned in a protective film. Sometimes we don’t even need to take your rug away to clean it, the work can be done in your house.  But we can discuss the best option for you when we come to visit.

Rug Cleaning - the Chem-Dry Way?

Chem-Dry's unique rug cleaning guarantees your rugs will be returned cleaner, fresher and looking good-as-new. Firstly, we’ll vacuum your rug on both sides to remove loose soil before we start the carbonating process. Our hot carbonating solution 'The Natural®' is applied, gently bubbling amongst the fibres, drawing dirt and stains to the surface for easy removal. A deodoriser and sanitiser can be applied to add a Spring-fresh fragrance if you require. ‘Repel™’ the Chem-Dry stain and soil protection for your rugs can also be applied to protect them from most spills and stains. 

Finally, rugs are hung up for rapid drying in our custom built facility. Chem-Dry of Liverpool's faster drying times means no risk of colour bleeding and prevents the growth of mould and mildew. Before we return your rugs we’ll groom the fibres, restoring pile and nap to make them feel luxurious once again. We round off the process with a thorough inspection, a final vacuum and roll up your rug in a protective film, ready to deliver it back to you.
