Dial Chem-Dry is run by owners Ami and Debbie Singh-Bhatti who bought their first carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise in 1991 - three months after the birth of their second daughter. Previously they had worked in the motor and retail industries as managers, but after a combined service history of 20 years they decided they had the necessary skills to run a successful business of their own.

After exploring various business opportunities they decided upon Chem-Dry because they were impressed by the company's core values of honesty, fairness and integrity which reflected their own Christian outlook on life.
